About this deal

Anyway, I could rant more: about Barney and the romanticism, about how that was dealt with, about Carrie being forgotten although she also is a mother, about many thinhgs. When the women volunteered, Hellinger stepped in, told them to stay and bravely confronted the doctor. Beautifully written and with a gorgeous design - each section is headed with a herb and its uses - Victoria's writing transforms dark times into beautiful prose that sweeps you up with her and carries you along until you see the world afresh. This book was recommended to me by a very good friend of mine and I have to admit I had my prejudices. With over 30 years experience as a creative facilitator, she has worked across a wide range of community-based projects and taught creative writing at Lancaster University.

Y , por su puesto, siempre de la mano de unos personajes que son maravillosa y terriblemente humanos. Convinced she was abducted from her home in Spain as a toddler, Eva has always longed for a loving mother, her real mother. All My Wild Mothers wrests nature writing from the 'lone enraptured male' and shows how our care for the natural world is inseparable from our care for each other.

Again, using my spainard card here, the whole bought baby moment could have been So Much More Magnanimous. The men in the tale were mostly unhelpful, with the exceptions of Nigel, whose character is endearing, and Eva’s eventual partner. The religious subtone was excellent, don't get me wrong, and at the end it made sense, but it also got pushed to the front, instead of other areas that could be explored like fr But once in a while you find a character that hits you at your core, and that's what Eva did for me.
